Scholarships — Funding Your Ireland Journey
Ireland’s flagship international scholarship programme.
Supports professionals seeking postgraduate education and leadership development.
All major Irish universities offer scholarships for international students.
Post-Study Work Visa — The Third Level Graduate Programme
Ireland’s post-study work pathway is one of the clearest and most student-friendly in Europe.
How It Works:
The post-study work visa in Ireland is officially known as the Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G). It allows eligible non-EU/EEA students to remain in Ireland after completing their studies to search for a job or start working.
Duration Based on Your Degree Level
The Ireland post-study work visa duration for this scheme is 2 years for postgraduate degree holders and can extend to 3–4 years for undergraduate degree holders. This is one of the longer post-study windows available in Europe for Master’s graduates.
What You Can Do During This Period
Unlike some countries where you can only job-seek, Ireland’s Stamp 1G allows you to work full-time immediately in any job while you search for a role aligned with your qualification. This means you can earn, build your network, and find the right opportunity without financial pressure.
